Blooms Program
The Blooms program is for children ages 3,4,5 (Child must be 3 years old by December 1st) limited to 13 students. Classes meet from 8:30-11:00am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Blooms class prepares children for kindergarten, with hands-on experiences and play geared for specific skills:

- Gross motor skills: running, hopping, jumping, climbing, sliding, balancing, begin skipping, coordination, alternating feet on stairs
- Fine motor skills: zippers, buttons, boots, etc.; stacking, balancing, pattering with manipulatives; cutting with scissors; tracing, painting, gluing
- Recognition of upper case letters
- Rhyming words
- Beginning and final word sounds
- Recognize rhymes and word parts
- Recognition of shapes, colors
- Recognition of numbers; counting in order; 1 to 1 correspondence; adding to and taking away from; fractions (whole, half, quarter, and parts of/portions)
